Lee Wheeler is responsible for sourcing office investments across the South Eastern United States. Before his current role, he has been a trusted veteran in the commercial real estate market. Lee has represented major institutional owners and developers including the MacArthur Foundation, Office Depot, IBM, Equitable Insurance, General Electric, Equitable Life and the Codina/Flagler Development Group.
Prior to joining Realty Cap Investments, Lee had specialized in investment sales with CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield and was managing director for the Miami Land Company. With 39 years of experience, he has completed over $2.5 billion in transactions ranging from small building sales to large portfolio dispositions.
He received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from The University of Connecticut. Tom currently resides in Denver with his wife and children, is a cyclist, skier and loves to travel.
Lee lives in the Thornton Park neighborhood of Orlando. He enjoys trying to keep up with the ever-changing restaurant scene, traveling, an occasional trip to Miami and Orlando Magic basketball games.
